CENTRAL VALLEY BUSINESS DIVERSITY PROGRAM

Levering the Valley’s diversity through contracts & jobs for greater economic prosperity.

The Central Valley Business Diversity Program is a core initiative of the FMBCC Foundation. The purpose of the Central Valley Business Diversity Expo is to inspire greater business diversity in Central California. The event features a supplier diversity/minority contracting trade fair, small business and human resources workshops, industry panel discussion, a DBE/MBE Investor Pitch event, and a closing reception.

The CVBD Project combines the success of past sourcing and networking events with on-going procurement technical assistance to generate sustained supplier diversity support to the Fresno region.

The task of galvanizing our region to leverage its diversity cannot be the work of anyone organization or part of the community. A collaborative of technical assistance providers, policymakers, and various stakeholders must be part of the solution.

Partnership members: Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation, Fresno Metro Black Chamber of Commerce, MBDA Fresno Business Center, Central CA Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, The Greenlining Institute.
