7th Annual Women Of Color
November 6, 2020
In just two short program years, the Central Valley Women’s Economic Impact Center ProspHer Program has engaged over 375 women, graduated nine women in 2 cohorts, let $84,809.00 in contracts with women-owned businesses, and provided $9,750.00 in seed funding.
The Fresno Metro Black Chamber Foundation Recognizing the importance of leadership development and economic empowerment for diverse women leaders and business owners, we developed the Central Valley Women’s Economic Impact Center (CVWEIC) to change the narrative and move the needle for women of color. Through the Circle of Excellence, a small, intimate cohort of experienced and aspiring women business owners are guided through the Entrepreneur’s Mindset course, enjoy enrichment sessions, and work on strategies to grow their businesses.
The Circle of Excellence cohort is an invitation-only program that follows a training curriculum tailored to women and diverse populations and offers a different approach to professional development. Also, the cohort spotlights the Central Valley’s most influential businesswomen. We're looking for women from every industry and profession that have made a difference in our communities, blazed a trail for the rest of us and are leaving a mark on Central Valley business.
